1700 Vine Street: Visions of a Sustainable Over-the-Rhine

This blog was created to chronicle the rehabilitation of 1700 Vine Street, a vacant, condemned building in Over-the-Rhine. Reid and I purchased the building in January 2008 and have been spending our evenings and weekends fixing it up ever since. Construction is moving slowly, but one day we will move in and call this former-disaster our LEED certified home. While rehab takes a lot of time, we are both learning a lot and having fun! Thanks Keep Cincinnati Beautiful Future Blooms Program!

Over the past week, out vacant, overgrown, garbage-ridden lot was transformed into an adorable park complete with straw to encourage grass growth and a tree!
