1700 Vine Street: Visions of a Sustainable Over-the-Rhine

This blog was created to chronicle the rehabilitation of 1700 Vine Street, a vacant, condemned building in Over-the-Rhine. Reid and I purchased the building in January 2008 and have been spending our evenings and weekends fixing it up ever since. Construction is moving slowly, but one day we will move in and call this former-disaster our LEED certified home. While rehab takes a lot of time, we are both learning a lot and having fun! Out with the old signage

This past week Reid and I ripped the old "Used Color TVs" sign off the front of the building! Reid unhooked the sign and tore it from the brick while I made sure noone walked underneath. The result was pretty loud and totally therapeutic. Time for another trip to the scrap yard...
